NARFE is represented by over 350,000 Federal civilian retirees, current Federal employees, their spouses and survivors. NARFE has over 1600 U.S.A. Chapters, and Chapters in Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, Panama, Philippines, and Since 1921 the Association has sponsored both federal and state legislation and administrative regulation that are beneficial to present and future retirees. We have opposed those that were detrimental. The Chapters are the grass roots of the organization. Chapters are where the focus for many legislative, social, and community activities are developed.
